Rolfe Judd appoints divisional director

Director of Rolfe Judd (Architecture), Matthew Williams, has been appointed Divisional Director of their expanding Polish office in Katowice

Matthew has been with the Rolfe Judd for 14 years working across a number of sectors delivering commercial offices, hotels and private and affordable housing as well as large, mixed-use urban regeneration projects.

At Rolfe Judd Polska he will look to develop work throughout Poland in the office, residential, leisure and mixed-use sectors. The practice has already enjoyed early success and currently has a burgeoning workload of Polish projects.

The office has 14 people and is working on schemes including new build office projects, a new concept in affordable housing and urban regeneration projects. In addition, the practice is researching renewable energy technologies and their application in Poland and the standardisation of Polish office specifications.

The Polish property industry is doing very well. In fact, Poland is one of the best European property markets despite the credit crunch and it is likely to experience rising demand. The market is expected to plateau and then enter a strong second phase of growth.

Rolfe Judd UK celebrates 40 years in business this year.
