RMJM has revealed the first images of its plans for a new 'landmark building' for University Campus Suffolk (UCS) in Ipswich.
The scheme aims to be ready for 2008 when the new university will admit its second intake of students.
The £20 million project, which will be located on the city's marina, forms a key part of the local strategy of developing an 'education quarter'.
Neil Jackson, capital programme manager for UCS, said: 'These images will further enable us to gauge public opinion and continue to develop the designs for the building.
'The design will continue to be developed and refined ahead of the University's planning application for the Waterfront building in September of this year.
'We think this will be a fantastic new building and these images will give everyone a preview of what will soon be a significant addition to the skyline of the Ipswich Waterfront and Education Quarter,' Jackson added. by Ed Dorrell
