RIBA Yorkshire on the hunt for White Rose Awards entries

RIBA Yorkshire has put out a call for entries for its 2008 White Rose Awards.

The awards – now in their 22nd year and sponsored by Ibstock Brick – recognise design excellence in architecture and the built environment in the Yorkshire region.

Last year, Project Orange’s Sinclair Building in Sheffield (pictured) won Building of the Year, and Hodson Architects and Architecture 2B picked up Gold Awards for Franklin College in Grimsby and an office building on York Street, Leeds, respectively.

Application forms and criteria are now available from RIBA Yorkshire. Contact Rachel Hughes on 0113 237 8480 or email

The closing date for entries is 4pm on 16 May.
