Princesshay new look revealed

Developers have released this latest image of a major mixed-use scheme in the Princesshay area of Exeter by Chapman Taylor, Wilkinson Eyre, Panter Hudspith and Livingstone Eyre Landscape Architects.

The £135 million project - for Land Securities - started on site at the beginning of the year and is expected to complete in late 2007.

The retail-led designs include shops, restaurants and cafes together with private and affordable residential units, regenerating an area which was a 1950's shopping precinct.

Chapman Taylor claims the proposal responds to local architectural language and addresses the historic urban grain, providing housing and an improved retail provision to this city centre site.
