Pascall + Watson Architects has been shortlisted in an invited design competition for a new terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
The London-based team is the only British architectural firm on the shortlist.
It is up against other practices such as Kisho Kurokawa, SOM and ADPi.
The winning proposal must be capable of handling over 30 million passengers a year.
The invitation to join the competition was a result of another submission: the office's proposals for the Royal Jet VIP terminal competition in the same city (pictured). This competition is still awaiting a result.by Rob Sharp
