Open-City announces Green Sky Thinking programme April 15 - 19
Green Sky Thinking, Open-City’s professional knowledge-sharing platform for sustainable design, will be held in April, independent of September’s Open House event for the first time
Under the theme of Mapping a Sustainable London, more than 50 workshops and site visits will showcase exemplar initiatives across the capital.
Now in its third year, Green Sky Thinking has established a loyal following, which values its approach to knowledge sharing. Attendees can directly query project teams at the forefront of sustainable design.
Highlights of this year’s event include a brainstorming session on how to fill the building performance gap, a tour of Squire and Partners’ 5 Hanover Square and a sustainability pub quiz hosted by PTEarchitects.
According to repeat workshop host Architype, Green Sky Thinking ‘is a concentrated forum, where practices can reach the appropriate audience and participants come away with a detailed overview of current research and the marketplace’.
