Nightingale wins planning for Croydon tower - images

Nightingale Associates has won planning permission for this 29-storey tower; a mixed-use development in Croydon's town centre for Tribal Property and Croydon College.

The £49 million project will accommodate a vocational centre for 14-19 year olds on the first 10 floors and 175 flats over the upper 18 floors.

The tower development will be linked into the existing college building by a four-storey glazed atrium containing a student exhibition space and information centre, café, and two pedestrian link bridges.

The project will be funded by the Learning and Skills Council, and by the capital released from the sale of the site.
