New design director for Barton Willmore's Solihull office

Leading planning and architectural consultancy, Barton Willmore, has recruited Christopher Boyce - who joins the firm's Solihull office as a design director.

The strategic appointment provides Barton Willmore with a strong design presence in the Midlands for the first time. The move reflects the company's commercial confidence and responds to client demand for the same integrated service offer that is available from other Barton Willmore offices.

Boyce previously worked at Aedas Architects where he was responsible for design and project delivery on Colmore Plaza, a 300,000 sq ft office building in the heart of Birmingham. Boyce also worked as a team member of the team delivering the vision for the new 2010 Acute Hospital for Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust and the master planning of its surroundings.

At Barton Willmore, Boyce will be leading a number of key master planning and design projects for the firm's Solihull and Leeds offices.
