Neutra’s Kaufmann house is put up for auction

Richard Neutra’s seminal Kaufmann ‘desert’ house in Palm Springs, California, has been put up for auction.

The 1946 Modernist masterpiece, which will be sold by Christie's International next May as part of a contemporary art sale, is expected to fetch a staggering $25 million (£12 million).
