Napper to regenerate Co Durham docks

A scheme by Napper Architects aims to bring economic life back to the town of Seaham

This mixed-use proposal for Seaham North Dock in Co Durham, by Napper Architects, has taken a step forward with news that funding for the scheme has been approved.

The £2.3 million project, which will include visitor facilities, a café, and workshops, was given the thumbs-up by Seaham Council, which said the scheme will ‘bring economic life back to the North Dock’.

Newcastle-based Napper said the project was due to start on site next spring.
