International multi-disciplinary consultancy Scott Wilson has announced the appointment of Andrew Clifford as Technical Director with responsibility for Sustainable Design.

Clifford was previously at architectural practice Sheppard Robson where he led a workplace project team in addition to its sustainability group. He was instrumental in delivering the firm's ISO 14001 accreditation and for their award winning procedures that integrate sustainability into the design process and business operations.

At Scott Wilson, Clifford will assist both project teams and advise clients. In addition he will raise capability across all sectors to enable staff to address sustainability issues and implement environmental innovation throughout the design and delivery process.
