HKR Architects, the award-winning international architect and design practice, has strengthened its team with the appointment of two new directors, Bernard Lee and Gordon Pickering, to grow its hotels, resorts and leisure division.

Lee has 20 years of experience in the hospitality sector and will be leading HKR's hospitality projects outside of the UK. He joins HKR from Broadway Malyan where he was Director of Global Hospitality and previously RTKL UK, where he was responsible for its EMEA hospitality division.

Pickering joins HKR from Reardon Smith Architects, where he undertook design work on some of the largest luxury hotels in the world. He will now head up HKR's hotel and leisure sector in the UK.
