Make wins University of Nottingham project

Make has scooped the contest to design a new £5 million laboratory and office building for The University of Nottingham at its agricultural campus in Sutton Bonington

The 3,100m² project, which was won through the OJEU (Official Journal of the European Union) process, will house the university’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science and the School of Biosciences.

According to the practice, the building has been designed ‘to be sensitive to its rural setting… with a future-proof infrastructure for the researchers, academics and students’.

Ken Shuttleworth’s practice has already completed three buildings, landscaping projects and the UK’s tallest sculpture for The University of Nottingham’s Jubilee Campus, which opened last summer.
