Leit-werk wins public realm scheme in Blackpool

London-based practice Leit-werk lands a key public realm project in Blackpool

London-based practice Leit-werk has become the latest ‘out of town’ architect to land a key public realm project in Blackpool, after winning the contest to revamp St John’s Precinct.

The firm saw off Capita Symonds, Letts Wheeler and LDA Design – which is already working on the People’s Playground project along the town’s seafront – to scoop the council-led regeneration scheme.
