KSS goes for planning in Kent

KSS Design Group has submitted plans for this 3,400m 2college in Kent.

The new four-storey building for Orpington College will have an L-shaped footprint that will create a 'dedicated student courtyard' at the heart of the campus.

This glazed space will form a link between the new development and the existing structures on the site.

Orpington College is the latest education scheme being worked on by the London-based practice, following work on the North-West Kent College, Cricklade College, Luton Sixth-Form College, Thanet College and York College.

Work on the college - which will accommodate 900 students - is expected to be complete by 2008.
