Jestico + Whiles hoping to break into Bratislava - images

Jestico + Whiles has submitted plans for this luxury apartment scheme overlooking the Slovakian capital, Bratislava.

The Parkville Residential Development, which will perch on the wooded Koliba hillside, will create 87 homes within 10 new buildings.

Ranging in size from one-bedroom flats with their own private gardens to four-bedroom penthouses with 100m 2roof-top lawns, the development will sit in a terraced 'green park environment'.

According to a practice spokesman 'the project is at the forefront of sustainable design in Slovakia'.

Among the key 'green' features are highly insulated building envelopes, green roofs, and 'grey water' recycling facilities for irrigation of the surrounding parkland.

There will also be underground parking.

The scheme, which will have views towards Bratislava Castle, is being backed by the ORCO Property Group and if the plans are accepted it is expected to be complete by the end of November next year.
