Jerry Tate reveals folding pavilion

Jerry Tate Architects has taken the wraps off this pavilion built by students during Dartmoor Arts Week

The 15m² temporary folding structure was built by a group of sixteen students as part of the Dartmoor Arts week spatial structures course.

The pavilion will become a welcome and reception space for the Dartmoor Arts Week, while also acting as a travelling exhibition space.

Designed to be transported on a trailer, the timber structure can be assembled by two people in less than five minutes.

Dartmoor Arts are currently commissioning a canvas cover for the pavilion.
