Short description of the contract or purchase(s):
Portsmouth City Council is seeking specialist market leading consultants to form a number of framework agreements for the feasibility, design, cost planning and construction of social housing schemes. The resulting framework for an Architecture Consultant Service for which this notice applies will support Housing Development’s Capital Programme which has a planned budget spend of up to £20 million on fees across a number of disciplines, in the construction of 829 dwellings for social housing, compliant with the minimum standard of Code 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes and the principles of ‘Homes for the Future’ plus some mixed commercial properties, on at least 24 individual sites. It is also anticipated that additional development capital will become available in 2010/11 to enable further development.
