Holder Mathias enjoys park life

Holder Mathias Architects has released this image of a proposed new Center

Parcs site in Bedfordshire - the holiday company's fifth park scheme in this country.

The £60 million complex, for which planning permission is currently being sought, would include a swimming pool, sports hall, hotel, spa and restaurants and form part of a wider masterplan by LDA Design.

The application for the site, at Warren Wood, near Woburn, was submitted to Mid Bedfordshire District Council at the end of June 2005, with a completion target set at 2008.

Peter Gamble, managing director of Holder Mathias and project team leader said: 'We are working closely with LDA, planning consultants Malcolm Judd and the local authority to create a solution that will work for our client and their customers while respecting the hugely sensitive nature of this very special site.'
