Grimshaw becomes latest big name to back ARB Reform Group

Yet another big name has given his support to the ARB Reform Group, just days before the ballot closes in the most bitter electoral contest the board has ever experienced.

Nicholas Grimshaw has become the latest signature architect to back the reformers, who are campaigning to see the board's activities drastically pared back.

The group hopes to win all six seats on the board reserved for practising architects.

Grimshaw - who has gone further than other supporters by announcing that he has actually voted for the group - joins high-profile backers such as Norman Foster and Richard Rogers.

Voting papers were sent out to architects some weeks ago and the ballot will be closed on Wednesday.
