McGonigle McGrath extends Belfast semi

[FIRST LOOK + PLANS + DATA] McGonigle McGrath has added a brick extension to a semi-detached house in Belfast

The Belfast-based practice has renovated and added a two-storey brick extension to a semi-detached house on a suburban street in Rosetta.

The main extension, to the rear of the existing house, contains a kitchen/dining room while a smaller side-extension contains service rooms, and extends forward of the garden to create a ‘family entrance’. The external walls of both new building elements extend at ground level to the boundaries east and west to form two private external courtyards.

A home office and garden store clad in the same brick as the house extension are in a seperate building in the garden.
