Guarnieri extends Bermondsey penthouse

[FIRST LOOK + DRAWINGS + DATA] Guarnieri Architects has added a roof-top extension to a flat in the Bermondsey conservation area

The Southwark-based practice has added an extension and redesigned the interior of the top-floor flat in a five-storey warehouse dating from the nineteen century.

The bedrooms are on the upper floor of the two-storey appartment, with the master bedroom and open ensuite bathroom placed in the structural glazed extension, which projects from the existing gable roof.

The ground floor of the flat contains an open plan living area and a study space.
