BDP unveils UCL workshop space

BDP has transformed a former delivery bay underneath UCL’s engineering building into a centre dedicated to making

Designed as a ‘multidisciplinary research club for those interested in the made world’, the 280m² facility on the London university’s Bloomsbury campus contains a workshop where students can work with advanced and traditional tools.

The £950,000 project also includes a materials library and a ‘thinking area’ at the front of the centre, which forms the public face of the project.
