Farewell Norman, hello Nablus

It was with a heavy heart that Astragal learned of the departure of Foster and Partners’ stalwart Jo Cutts – a vital cog in Normski’s press machine

Unfortunately Fozzie didn’t think she was vital enough and she was given the chop along with nearly 400 others a fortnight ago. Cutts, however, had already prepared a Plan B and she is now heading out to a university in Nablus on the West Bank. After five years at the coal face the ever-ebullient Cutts waved a cheery goodbye to Mr Foster and told Astragal she was glad to be off:  ‘The recession is way too depressing… I prefer a war zone.’
