Exhibition takes the viewer inside the mind of Will Alsop

A new art exhibition featuring the 'bizarre inner workings of Will Alsop's mind' is to open at the jgallery in Northampton.

'Works from the Archive', which will run from 14 September 2007 to January 2008, will feature fifteen 2 x 1m canvases, each carrying a price tag of between £10,000 and £25,000.

Exhibition curator Sue Brooks described the paintings as 'outrageous' and added: 'They are great. They are very bright, and although to the untrained eye they may look bizarre, I love them.

'Will goes off to France with a painter friend of his and blitzes his mind. He just empties it.

'This is what is in the mind of Will Alsop, and although they will not be to everyone's taste, I love them.'
