ESA wins planning for office scheme in south London - images

ESA Architects has won planning permission for this £5 million scheme on Timber Mill Way in Clapham, south London.

The building, for developer RO Developments, is to be the new headquarters of a currently unidentified housing trust.

ESA - formerly known as Elsworth Sykes and based in London and Hull - says that the project incorporates 'characteristic' zinc-clad chimneys that will naturally ventilate the building to reduce its energy consumption.

Work is scheduled to start on site early next year.
