Design Team for the East Park Design Centre, Loughborough University.

Short description of the contract or purchase(s):
Full architectural and multidisciplinary services from and including stage B of the RIBA plan of works to construction. The procurement of a design team to develop concept drawings and specifications as necessary to secure planning and building approvals, the preparation of tender documents for procurement of a contractor(s) including detailed design, specification, working drawings, site inspections, as appropriate and as required by the University to deliver the East Park Design Centre.

The East Park Design Centre will serve as a well appointed centre of design facilities, promoting the strength and breadth of design activity at Loughborough University. The building will be a very significant addition to the campus and will be the focus of design activities. It will produce a focal point for the University to present itself more effectively to the wider world, celebrating excellence in design across a wide range of subject disciplines.

Limitations on the number of operators who will be invited to tender or to participate:
Envisaged minimum number: 5. Maximum number: 5
Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: The PQQ document provides details of the project and the Universitys selection criteria thus enabling respondents to provide concise relevant information.

The shortlist will be developed following consideration of financial standing, references and experience. Respondents are therefore required to complete the on line PQQ questionnaire which has full instructions.
