Design team sought for arts college revamp in the south-west

Somerset College of Arts and Technology has released a massive £45 million OJEU notice to realise the second phase of its redevelopment masterplan.

Located on Wellington Road, Taunton, the second phase involves the redevelopment of the college's art, design and construction centres and the addition of a new sports hall and nursery.

Lacey Hickie Caley Architects, based in the south-west, worked on the first £15 million stage, which involved new build and the refurbishment of existing facilities. The firm also helped draw up the masterplan.

The deadline for receipt of requests for documents is midday on 11 October.
