David Morley reveals latest phase of Kings Cross development

David Morley Architects has revealed the latest images of the 13-storey Plimsoll building which forms part of Argent’s Kings Cross redevelopment

The 13-storey building which contains 178 private apartments is arranged around a central courtyard.

The 29,620m² scheme also features two schools at ground and first floor level; a school for deaf and hard of hearing children and a primary school.

The building forms part of Argent’s £2 billion masterplan for Kings Cross which also includes buildings by Stanton Williams, Maccreanor Lavington, dRMM, and David Chipperfield Architects. It sits alongside the Regent’s Canal and next to the re-erected frame of Gasholder No. 8, which is being transformed into a new public park and events space

The scheme is due to complete in 2015.
