This is Erect Architecture's winning design for a new extension to Cyprus Infant School
This is Erect Architecture's winning design for a new extension to Cyprus Infant School in Croydon, south-east London.
The London-based practice – which worked with sustainability outfit XCO2 and engineer Hyder – beat Tyler Hayhurst, Burd Haward and DLA to bag the scheme.
The building will be one of Croydon Council's new Children's Centres which, in addition to including a three-form infants school, will also house a crèche, adult education facilities and health visitor facilities.
The centre is scheduled to go on site next summer.
