The AJ joined the Stirling Prize judges yesterday for an exclusive insight into the judging process.
The five judges, garden designer Diarmuid Gavin, Eva Jiricna of Eva Jiricna Architects, Kieran Long, editor of the AJ, Shelley McNamara of Dublin-based Grafton Architects and Gordon Murray of gm + ad Architects, visited two projects in London.
These were Westminster Academy, designed by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, and the restoration of the Royal Festival Hall by Allies and Morrison.
Watch the video below, including interviews with all the judges.
