RIBA president Sunand Prasad is to sail to the Arctic with Jarvis Cocker and a host of other artists.
Prasad is going on the fifth Cape Farewell Art/Science expedition, aimed at inspiring those on board to create work that helps the public to engage with climate change.
Setting off on 25 September, the expedition will concentrate on the west coast of Greenland, paying attention to the rapid ice melt.
In addition to Jarvis Cocker, Prasad's fellow-travellers will include musicians Martha Wainwright and K T Tunstall, theatre director Jude Kelly and comedian Marcus Brigstocke. The expedition will return on 5 October.
Sunand Prasad will write for the AJ from the expedition.
