The scheme makes up part of Land Securities' wider redevelopment of Victoria and follows KPF's scaled-down planning application for the Victoria Transport Interchange submitted last Friday (19 September).
Pelli's scheme proposes to replace the existing 1960s Selbourne House office block with 41,000m2 of office and retail space.
Land Securities' head of development Colette O'Shea, said: 'Our new development at Selborne House will benefit the area greatly. Not only will it create a fresh commercial environment, it will also supply new retail and leisure provision for the local community.'
The developer hopes to start on site as early as April 2009.
