The tallest building in the scheme is now a 90m-tall office block designed by KPF, and the mixed-use proposals include improved public space, gardens and wider pedestrian routes.
According to Land Securities, two elements – Portland House, which was to be designed by Wilkinson Eyre, and Terminus Place – have been cut from the original application submitted in 2007.
Land Securities is expected to make further planning applications for Selborne House, Victoria Street and Wellington House and Buckingham Gate in the coming weeks.
