Possibly the smallest building designed by Edwin Lutyens – a Grade II-listed folly in Devon known as the Pimple – is on sale for about £10,000.
The 94-year-old, 4m-long structure, from the architect of Parliament House in New Delhi and the Cenotaph in London, sits on top of a 12m-high mound at Whitchurch Down on Dartmoor.
Neil Woolcock, of Ward and Chowden estate agents in Tavistock, which is handling the sale, told the Guardian the vendor bought it a few years ago from South West Water because it was 'a little piece of England'.
