This is Foster + Partners' 'Project Orange' in Moscow.

The 15-storey mixed-use design, centred around a gallery, was commissioned by firm Inteko, owned by Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov's wife, Yelena Baturina.

Shocking - this culture of global branding and image making is so far removed from the position architects should and could have within society

The clarity of the practice's thinking in its early work is becoming increasingly eclipsed by its tendecy to be drawn towards the temptations of the dramatically trivial. A triumph of style over content.

i think Terry's might have something to say about his basis for design...
