The recent high winds have taken their toll on Allford Hall Monaghan Morris' (AHMM's) RIBA Award-winning Unity building in Liverpool, as the images below show.
According to onlookers, a glass window was 'sucked out' of the south-facing wall of the 27-storey residential block – smashing on a paved terrace below and cracking tiles.
AHMM said it was unaware of the problem and contractor Laing O'Rourke refused to comment.
The £60 million mixed-use office and apartment building was completed last year and boasts some of the the most expensive penthouses in Liverpool.
