Studio E Architects has been named as Best School Architect at the British Council for School Environments (BCSE) industry awards dinner.
The west London-based practice beat stiff competition in the shape of Architype and school specialist Penoyre and Prasad to win the award last night (12 February).
According to the BCSE, the firm bagged the top prize for its 'ability to innovate and meeting the client brief by involving all stakeholders in the design process'.
Director of the BCSE Ty Goddard, said: 'Studio E Architects has set the bar high when it comes to inspiring design around learning environments.
'Its commitment to placing teachers, learners and the local community at the heart of the design process, coupled with the creativity to innovate around a client brief, makes the practice a worthy winner.'
Meanwhile, AHMM Architects picked up an award for Inspiring Design in a secondary school for its Westminster Academy.
