Italy launches architecture's first radio station

The first radio station just for architects has hit the airwaves in Italy.

Good Morning Architecture (GMA) radio has been officially launched by Italian National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects, and Conservationists (CNAPPC) after a short trial.

According to the station, which has been set up to tie in with the World Congress of Architects in Turin in late June, it will broadcast a 'range of daily programmes including news, interviews, dialogue with schools of architecture, and debates with personalities from throughout the world of culture.'

The programmes, which unfortunately are all in Italian, can be listened to online at www.gma-radio.com

Although stations such as Resonance FM have regular design slots, there is currently no equivalent in the UK.
