Norman Foster and the RIBA have announced that they are to fund a second travelling scholarship for student architects, following the success of last year's award.
The successful student will receive a £6,000 grant to help fund an international research project, and their report will feature in the RIBA President's Medals Student Awards exhibition at the end of the year.
Norman Foster said: 'We were very pleased to see the results of last year's winner Ben Masterton-Smith's research into the Asian Communist City.
'I hope that this year's award will similarly enable exciting new research.'
Applications for the award close on the 14 March 2008.
