Rosslyn Chapel, the Scottish church made famous by Hollywood blockbuster The Da Vinci Code , is seeking architects to improve visitor access and provide 'comprehensive conservation of the chapel'.
Since featuring in the film, the chapel in Roslin, Midlothian, has seen a dramatic increase in visitors, which has prompted the Rosslyn Chapel Trust to look for designers to redevelop the site.
Apart from the conservation of the chapel, the contract will see the construction of an enlarged visitor facility, with improved access and landscaping, to help cope with the increased demands from tourists.
