Wilkinson Eyre breaks ground on mixed-use Euston scheme

Wilkinson Eyre and Stephen Marshall Architects’ £50 million North East Quarter project for British Land in North London has started on site

Representing the final stage of the Regent’s Place development, the 46,500m² office scheme just north of the Euston Tower will also include 172 residential units.

Due to finish in 2013, the project will effectively complete British Land’s Regents Place development which started in 1984.

The entire development will eventually cover close to 186,000m² and features Carmody Groarke’s much-publicised pavilion (below).

  • Once this is completed the old Euston Tower will look really dated. Time for a reclad maybe?!
