Video: A day in the life of the London Dresser

  • Comment

Two short films have been released showcasing the construction and use of a pop-up £93,000 ‘cabinet’ housing models of London’s architectural gems

Created by SOCA in collaboration with Westminster University students Hugo Bass and James Kirk, the AJ Small Projects-shortlisted temporary installation was commissioned by the Mayor of London to stand on the South Bank during the London Olympics.

The short timelapse video, ‘A day in the life of the dresser’, demonstrates how the cabinet works.

The construction, installation and use of the London Dresser are shown in more detail in this second film.
