Twickenham Riverside project shortlist revealed

Richmond Council has revealed the shortlisted three firms bidding for the Twickenham Riverside project

Following an open competition, the council has shortlisted Clive Chapman Architects with Countryside Properties, Robert Adam Architects with the Osborne Group and Quad Architects with Ellmer Construction.

The project brief is the construction of a centre at the south-east corner of the site managed by the Environment Trust for Richmond-upon-Thames. The centre will feature a boat house, learning centre, offices and a cafe.

The site is owned by the council and is bounded by Water Lane, Wharf Lane and the River Thames, alongside Eel Pie Island.

A public consultation is currently running and will close on 27 March, with the selected bidder announced on 28 May.
