The Art Fund Pavilion shortlist announced

Two UK practices have made the five-strong shortlist to design a semi-permanent pavilion for The Lightbox museum and gallery

The competition run by Tent London and The Lightbox attracted over 600 entries from 52 Countries. The UK is represented in the shortlist by Feix & Merlin Architects with Martin Stockley Associates and Karim Muallem. Tina Manis Associates from the USA, IN & EDIT Architecture from France and AREA from Greece complete the list.

The winning design will be engineered and constructed by Facit and shown as part of Tent London during the London Design Festival 2009, before being used by The Lightbox as additional gallery space.

All the shortlisted projects, alongside a range of other selected submissions, will be exhibited at the Lightbox from 31 March - 12 April and a wnner will be announced on 6 April.
