TateHindle bags planning for 229 homes in Cambridge
TateHindle has won planning consent for a 229-home project for Countryside Properties at Long Road, Clay Farm outside Cambridge
The scheme is part of the wider 2,300 home Great Kneighton development on the city’s southern fringe growth area between. Work will start on the scheme, which includes 40 per cent affordable housing, in May this year with the first homes set to complete in summer 2014.
According to the London-based practice, the scheme includes a range of homes from one, two and three bedroom flats together with two, three, four and five bedroom houses ‘set around new squares, courtyard and streets’.

Annual co2 emissions: The technologies considered are to provide onsite generation to offset carbon. It is the Cambridge City Council’s planning policy requirement that 10% of the energy consumption for the site be provided by onsite generation, in this case photovoltaic panels.
