Stuart Lipton: What goes around...

Astragal has heard about two rival bids for developer P&O Estates’ 1960s Elizabeth House building next to London’s Waterloo Station

Following the demise of Allies and Morrison’s £1 billion Three Sisters proposals at the hands of Secretary of State John Denham in October last year, P&O decided to put the plot on the market. Intriguingly, pitted against London & Regional Properties in the bidding is Stuart Lipton’s property company Chelsfield.

More intriguingly, should Lipton (pictured) win he will redevelop the offices in which he worked as CABE’s first chair back in 1999, after it moved there from St James’s Square.
