SPARK completes Fuzhou shopping mall in China

[First look + plans + project data] SPARK has thrown open the doors on its Thaihot Mall project in Fuzhou, south east China

Designed out of the studio’s Beijing office, the scheme features a perforated aluminium façade allows light to pass through creating a constantly changing ‘starry night’ appearance.

The shopping centre includes a retail podium open 12 hours a day and a rooftop terrace featuring restaurants and miniature golf.

The project started on site in January 2012.
