Rogers re-invents Oxley Woods in the City
Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners is to bring the prefabricated timber construction techniques used on its award-winning Oxley Woods housing scheme, Milton Keynes to inner city London
The six- to eight-storey project in Hackney for the Metropolitan Housing Partnership will create 14 affordable homes.
A spokesman for the practice said: ‘The project aims to address the use of Modern Methods of Construction in an urban setting, using highly sustainable and economical methods of construction, as well as introducing high quality, well designed spaces for living at the affordable end of the housing market.’
