Robert Adam bags planning for Jersey Dairy site

[FIRST LOOK] Classicist Robert Adam has won planning permission for this 87 home scheme on the site of the old Dairy in Princes Tower Road, St Saviour, Jersey

Backed by developer Dandara, the scheme features 78 ‘traditional’ new homes and nine apartments and will see Jersey Dairy leave its home for the past 43 years and move into purpose built premises in Trinity.

The development features a mix of three, four and five bedroom family homes ‘in a variety of traditional styles’ some set in ‘traditional crescents and terraces’ with the larger detached properties approached from a cobbled street leading through to the valley below.

Robert Adam said: ‘Our key objectives are to create a special place that reflects the character of the Island whilst adding something extra and integrating the whole project into the village and the surrounding landscape. We trust this will be a wonderful place to live and visit.’
